Tax-Free Childcare Calculator

This calculator works out your government top-up from Tax-Free Childcare. For every £8 you pay into your childcare account, the government adds £2.

The top-up is capped at £500 every 3 months per child, or £1,000 if your child is disabled. Enter how much you plan to pay in each quarter to see your top-up.

Each parent generally needs to earn at least 16 hours a week at the National Living Wage, and neither parent can earn over £100,000 a year.
